Tibet Library holds reading activity for children

Apr. 10, 2019 -- Recently, Tibet Library and Lhasa Experimental Primary School have organized a reading activity. More than 150 children have participated, read books in children's reading room, browsed online books and experienced Virtual Reality (VR) in electronic reading room.

"More than 20,000 books, 100 kinds of publications and over 20 kinds of newspapers are displayed in the children's reading room of Tibet Library. In recent years, the library has carried out a lot of reading promotion activities as well as storytelling activities to enrich children's lives and stimulate their interest in reading." says Yong Qing, director of the reading department of Tibet Library.

At the end of the activity, Tibet Library has presented children's books to every participant, with the hope that all children will develop a good reading habit.
