June 13, 2016 -- A Tibetan delegation recently visited South Korea to promote cooperation on tourism and people-to-people exchanges.
Losang Jamcan, chairman of the Tibetan Autonomous Region and head of the delegation, delivered a speech at the first China-Korea Governors Conference on June 8.
He introduced Tibet's economic and social development, tourism policies and prospects and put forward some specific suggestions to promote tourism culture and people-to-people exchanges between the two sides.
Losang and Hong Zhunbiao, governor of Gyeongsangnam-do province of South Korea, jointly signed the Tibet-Gyeongsangnam-do friendship agreement on June 9.
The agreement will play an important role in expanding consensus and deepening friendship and mutual trusts.
