The Sichuan-Tibet highway, which links southwest China’s Sichuan Province and Tibet Autonomous Region, was put into operation on Dec. 25, 1954 with a length of over 2,000 kilometers.
According to the data from the Lhasa Customs, the import and export value of China’s Tibet stood at 3.06 billion yuan RMB from January to September.
