Congolese gynecologist, Yazidi human rights activist receive 2018 Nobel Peace Prize

Dec. 12, 2018 -- Nobel Peace Prize laureates Denis Mukwege (R), Nadia Murad (C) and Berit Reiss-Andersen, chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, are present at the award ceremony in Oslo, Norway, Dec. 10, 2018. Congolese gynecologist Denis Mukwege and Iraq's Yazidi human rights activist Nadia Murad received the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize on Monday at the award ceremony in Norway for "their efforts to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war and armed conflict."
