"Experience China" cultural events held in Prague

June 28,2018--The cultural event series “Experience China 2018--the Culture of Western China in the Czech Republic” kicked off in Prague on June 21, 2018.

The event was co-sponsored by the State Council Information Office (SCIO) of China and Chinese Embassy in the Czech Republic.

Over 200 people including Woycech Philip, vice speaker of the Czech House of Representatives, Lu Guangjin, director general of the Human Rights Affairs Department of the SCIO, Chen Jianjun, charge d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy in the Czech Republic, Jiri Parulbeck, former Czech premier, Guo Jinshi, executive director of the International Cultural Exchange Association of Gansu Province, attended the opening ceremony.

June 28,2018--Dancing drama is staged in Prague.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lu Guangjin, head of the delegation, said the Sino- Czech cultural exchanges play an important role in promoting bilateral ties. The dance drama performed by artists from Gansu Dance Theater is expected to showcase the multi-ethnic cultures of west China to local audiences.

We hope this show will help the Czech people understand China more comprehensively, especially the western China. And we hope you can travel to China someday, experiencing the folk culture and food by yourselves, said Chen Jianjun at the ceremony.
