Feb. 7. 2017 -- Since the "ten major livelihood projects" have been implemented in Lhoka City, Tibet Autonomous Region, cities and counties in Lhoka City have allocated 70% financial resources in the field of livelihood.
Lhoka City strengthens the concern and care for the disabled, orphans and old people with five guarantees. It builds and perfects the safeguard mechanism of orphans, as well as subsidy mechanism of full-time nursing personnel. In addition, it also intensifies gregarious degree of orphans. At the same time, Lhoka City encourages and supports to build comprehensive welfare houses, apartments for the elderly, and nursing homes with social capital.
At present, the gregarious rate of orphans and old people with five guarantees in Lhoka City both reaches 100%.
