Jan. 13, 2017 -- At the beginning of 2017, 26 bridges and seven tunnels between Chengdu Plain and Ya'an City were under busy construction. The Sichuan-Tibet Railway is extending from Sichuan to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The 1,900-kilometer railway starts from Chengdu, goes through Ya'an, Garze, Chamdo and Nyingch, and finally arrives at Lhasa.
