Sept.27,2020 -- Surdeshod Town, known for its good chili, is located in Markam County of Qamdo City, southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region. In 2007, Lvye Food Co., Ltd was founded in Markam County. With the mode of “company + base + household”, it came up with an advanced industrial production process of chili. To date, its chili plantation area has reached 1.33 km2. Last year, the output value of Surdeshod chili amounted to over five million yuan RMB, bringing an income growth for 1,776 people of 246 households. Among them, 606 people came from registered impoverished households. The income of each household is increased by 25,000 yuan RMB.
