April 17,2020 -- Recently, with orderly promotion of work resumption and increasing number of migrant workers, Youth League Committee of Doilungdeqen District, Lhasa City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, has carried out a special volunteer service activity of "Youth Courier", setting up a volunteer team composed of 69 young volunteers to actively participate in distribution and transshipment work for people entering Tibet, as well as temperature checking, food delivering and medicine purchasing for those in quarantine. These "Youth Couriers" include college students, entrepreneurial team members, ordinary office workers, couriers and deliverymen.

Chosphel Sonam is a young entrepreneur. Under the support of the Party and the government, he realized his dream of establishing Doilung Mayong Trading Co., Ltd. With a grateful heart, when the recruitment of "Youth Couriers" was launched, he and his 14 team members signed up without hesitation. Currently, they do service works at Donggar Street from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. every day. "When the mother land is in need, doing what we can do is young entrepreneur's responsibility." He says.

Xingcheng Hotel at Naiqung Street, one of the centralized isolation points of Doilungdeqen District, requires 2 volunteers on duty each day to participate in isolation work all day long. After seeing the recruitment information, a kindergarten teacher named Dekyi Drolma and a college graduate named Chunglha took their initiative to sign up. Since then, the two post-90s girls have started to check the temperatures of those in quarantine three times a day, and purchase essentials for them.

Couriers and deliverymen also immediately responded to the call on, contributing to work resumption and the epidemic prevention & control. At Yamda Modern Agricultural Facility Park, volunteers have set up a convenient service group. Four couriers buy and deliver daily necessities according to residents' demanding lists; 20 deliverymen of Meituan Doilungdeqen Station deliver 60 disinfected take-out foods a day.

For winning the battle against the epidemic, these "Youth Couriers" are conveying positive energy and making efforts on their own way.
