March 6,2020 -- According to the Tibet Power Company of the State Grid, by Feb. 29, more than 2,800 workers have resumed the construction of 338 projects, accounting for 75% of the total.

With an effective plan for epidemic prevention and control and the resumption of production, a series of work in Ngari Power Grid Interconnection Project have been carried out through online meetings and the APP for project management since Feb. 20.

On Mar. 1, a charter flight brought a total of 106 workers back to southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. All of them must be quarantined for 14 days as required before entering the construction sites.

The Tibet Power Company of the State Grid is accelerating the work of epidemic prevention and control while gradually resuming production. Workers of major projects are organized to enter Tibet in batches and go to assigned hotels to take 14-day quarantine. After passing the health checks, they will be allowed to enter the construction sites. The major projects have resumed in an orderly and scientific way, which ensures sufficient electricity for poverty alleviation and the building of a moderately prosperous society.
