South Pole explorers have pre-training in Lhasa

Aug.2,2018--China's 35th group of South Pole explorers for the Taishan Station and Kunlun Station have had their plateau readiness training in Lhasa. This is the 35th time China is conducting scientific research at the South Pole, and the explorers will be working at the Taishan and Kunlun stations.
 
According to the Bureau of Oceanography, Tibet was chosen as the plateau readiness training site. Three excellent teachers from the Tibetan Mountain Hiking Team were also invited to join the exploration. The 56 trainees have had two days of technical training and five days of plateau readiness training at the Tibetan Hiking School, including glacier self-rescue and rescue, etc. The training has already been completed.
