Mar. 20, 2018 -- Since the beginning of March, migrant workers have started to return to Tibet where they work. Besides, starting from Feb 1, thanks to the winter tourism promotion program, more tourists went to Tibet. Because of the reasons mentioned above, air tickets to Tibet have been difficult to secure. 5,000 air seats are expected to be added before the adjustment of flight schedule for the summer-autumn season, according to Tibet's civil aviation administration.

During March 11 to 24, one flight (TV9859) from Chengdu to Lhasa is added on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. A330 model instead of A319 links Chengdu to Lhasa on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. A330 model is put into use for CA 4403/19 and CA 4420/04 (Chengdu-Lhasa-Chongqing-Lhasa-Chengdu).

Tourists who travel to Tibet could make an early schedule in order to arrive at the destination on time.
