“Deep in Shambhala”to be premiered in 2017

Dec. 19, 2016 -- Filmed in early 2016, the documentary “Deep in Shambhala” will make its world debut on CCTV in the spring of 2017.
 
The documentary depicts the natural ecology and human society in Shambhala (also called Shangri-la) in Sichuan province. 
 
"Deep in Shambhala" plans to produce 5-episode TV series with 45 minutes per episode and a 90-minute documentary film.
 
The TV series will show the harmony between man and nature, the coexistence between peoples, the conflict and integration of tradition and modernity, the heritage and innovation of culture, etc.
 
The film will highlight the most wonderful parts of the 5 episodes with the theme of “human and nature."
 
"Shambhala" is a cultural symbol of wonderland. We hope to promote the most humane ecology and society of Shambhala to the outside world,” said Yan Dazhong, general director of the documentary.
