Nov. 24, 2016 -- Tibetan classes held in inland provinces have cultivated a total of 36,000 talents for Tibet during the past 31 years, which have become important bases for Tibet’s education and talents cultivation, according to Education Department in Tibet Autonomous Region.
The Tibetan classes or schools in inland were first opened in 1985 and now over 20 provinces and cities hold Tibetan classes.
"Tibetan classes are special measures for ethnic education and play a crucial role in cultivating talents for Tibet and promoting national solidity and economic development in Tibet," said Xu Liying , a scholar of Minzu University of China.
"The Tibetan class cultivated me. It will be hard for me to grow up to a judge without the policy," said Ciping who was born in a peasant family in Tibet and went to schools in Beijing and Shandong.
