10th Namtso Walking Festival to be held in September

July 21, 2016 -- The 10th Namtso Walking Festival will be held in September this year by Lhasa City, according to the Lhasa Tourism Bureau. This festival aims to stress on features, create brands and expand foreign exchanges as well as to give expression to innovation, commercial character and participation.
The Namtso Walking Festival is planned be held on the Tashi Peninsula. Participators can experience Qiangtang Grassland's magnificent natural scenery and unique folk custom, as well as special highland scenery of Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains and Nastso Lake.
To create highland tourism brands, promote mass sports activity, and excavate regional humanities features and tourism cultureconnotation, this festival will continuously enrich tourism projects, improve international awareness of tourism brands, and bring a better experience to participators.
