Aug.1, 2016 -- The “5000 meter” Tibetan themed exhibition will be displayed at the Tibet Museum on Aug 2.

Organized by Tibet Autonomous Region Party Committee Propaganda Department and Federation of Literature and Art, the exhibition brings together the Tibetan style works of nine contemporary Chinese painters including Feng Yuan, Han Shuli, Bama Tashi and others. It will feature a total of 50 pieces of work.

The exhibition works record everything seen and heard by the nine artists when living and travelling on the Tibetan plateau. Each piece depicts Tibet’s human geography and grassroots work. Through their work you can see the simplicity of folk customs, the solemnity of religious rituals and the veneration the people of the plateau have towards Tibet.
