A batch of ecological projects have been launched in the region. In the Bome County of Nyingchi City, rangers have been recruited to protect forests. And in Chagyab County of Changdu City, economic forests have been built to deal with water loss and soil erosion, bring economic benefits to 249 people in poverty.

 

Tibet will continuously implement the reward and compensation mechanism in a bid to preserve its ecological environment and improve its public services.
