update:November 30,2017

Nov. 30, 2017 -- China’s largest innovation and service platform for Tibetan medicine is being developed to improve the core competitiveness of the country’s Tibetan medicine industry.

The platform consists of a technological service system, a basic service system and a public service system. It is jointly built by 15 institutions from Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu and Beijing including Qinghai Arura Tibetan Medicine Co. Ltd and China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.

With the platform, clinical data can be collected to help analyze the safety and effectiveness of the Tibetan medicine.

Its Tibetan and Chinese websites are expected to be launched by 2018. Users can look up more than 1, 000 Tibetan medicine documents, 2,000 Tibetan medicine items, and 4, 200 terminologies.
