Nov.2,2017--By the end of 2017, Lhasa will build a first aid system for facilitating medical resources coordination across the city in order to provide emergency treatment as soon as possible to those in need.

A more coordinated emergency medical aid system will be established in the whole region with Tibet Emergency Center as the main service provider and supported by all the emergency centers across the region.

“To realize the goal of building a ‘Healthy Tibet’, Tibet plans to raise the region’s health indexes to the average level of those in central and western China, and increase the average life expectancy to 73 by 2030,” said Wang Yunting, director of Tibet’s Health and Family Planning Commission.

“We will also build a team of medics for emergency response to provide timely treatment to the ill,” Wang added.
