The first plateau BCI clinical application center in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region was officially inaugurated at Lhasa People's Hospital on Thursday, marking a significant step for the region in leveraging cutting-edge technology to address intractable neurological diseases.

As a transformative human-computer interaction solution, BCI technology has shown great potential in the neurological rehabilitation field.

This year, a medical assistance team from Beijing Tiantan Hospital to Xizang introduced the BCI technology to the region, which will promote the implementation of cutting-edge medical technologies to benefit people in Xizang.
