Across southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, power lines climb over snow-covered mountains and stretch into some of the world's most remote landscapes.
In places where altitude, freezing temperatures and vast distances make almost everything difficult, electricity still reaches homes, schools, clinics and hospitals, bringing light and warmth to communities high on the plateau.
Crossing steep valleys and rugged mountain ridges, these towers carry more than power – they carry connection, development and hope.
