In May, Nyingchi's snow peaks still glow in the morning light.
At the training base, coaches and teammates gathered to celebrate the 23rd birthday of Tsering Dradul – China's cross-country skier, also the first Tibetan athlete to compete at the Winter Olympics and an Asian Winter Games gold medalist.
Before blowing out the candles, he made a simple wish – for his parents to stay healthy, and to keep striving for even better results.
