Aid-Xizang Program: China marks 30 years of medical aid to Xizang Autonomous Region

Chinese officials have highlighted the progress and achievements of 30 years of medical aid to Xizang Autonomous Region. The National Health Commission said that around four billion U.S. dollars have been invested by the central government and partner cities to support healthcare in Xizang since 2012. The region now boasts a well-functioning and reasonably distributed medical service system covering both urban and rural areas.
