Liu Shasha, 27, is from Shijiazhuang of north China's Hebei Province. In the summer vacation in 2019, Liu Shasha followed her teacher to Litang County of Sichuan Province to carry out social practice and participated in the design of a few local museums. This was her first visit to the western Sichuan plateau, which left a deep impression on her.

After graduating from college, she worked in Shijiazhuang for a period of time, but the experience in Litang kept lingering in her mind, so she returned to western Sichuan and continued to participate in the research and design of local cultural buildings.

In 2021, she came to Batang County, more than 100 kilometers away from Litang, and established her own design company. Nowadays, many young faces with different jobs, such as barista, e-commerce livestreamer, designer, traditional craftsman etc., have injected new vitality into the development along the Sichuan-Xizang highway.
