On Feb. 25, 1988, the regional party committee and governmental organs in Tibet Autonomous Region sent a message of congratulations to the monks participating in the Grand Summon Ceremony held in Lhasa, saying that with the concerted efforts of patriotic monks and believers, the Buddhist classics and activities can become prosperous as other causes in the country.
