On Feb. 6, 1960, Chen Yi, Vice Premier of the State Council, held a farewell ceremony for the leave of the 10th Panchen Lama Choekyi Gyaltsen, Acting Director of Preparation Committee for Tibet Autonomous Region, and all the accompanying monks in Beijing.
