"2017 Experience China • Cultural Exploration of West China in Egypt: Xinjiang", jointly organized by the State Council Information Office of China, the autonomous regional government of Xinjiang and the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, was held in Cairo and Alexandria, Egypt in July. The event presented a general picture of Xinjiang including its landscape, socio-economic development and cultural achievement for the Egyptian public, boosting China-Egypt exchange and cooperation as well as mutual understanding and friendship.
