Dec. 18, 2023 -- A herd of Xizang wild donkeys were spotted roaming and galloping through snow-covered meadows in Shigatse, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region.　 　

 

Together with the nearby golden grassland and the endless snow mountains in the distance, they combined to form an exquisite visual spectacle. 　

 

In recent years, the continuous improvement of the ecological environment in Xizang has led to more frequent sightings of this rare species, which is a national first-class key protected wild animal.
