Lhasa street bazaars buzzing after COVID-19 restrictions eased

Many Chinese cities have sprung back to life after the central government recently announced a set of 10 prevention and control measures to further optimize the country's COVID-19 response. 
 
On December 7, Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, lifted several control measures, including the requirement to have a negative COVID-19 test result to take public transport and enter public places. With the optimized measures, life in Lhasa is gradually returning to normal. Sipping butter tea, wandering around the traditional market, saying hello to stray cats, CGTN stringer hits the streets of Lhasa to record these images of the city.
