Lhasa locals fry Kasai pastries to welcome Tibetan New Year

Feb. 22, 2022 -- Sales of Kasai, a traditional fried Tibetan pastry, are booming as New Year on the Tibetan Calender draws closer.
The special cuisine is indispensable during Tibetan festivals, family gatherings, etc. Therefore, many stores that have opened as temporary Kasai shops are now crowded with customers.
