Migrating black-necked cranes gather in SW China's Hongyuan

A ski-mountaineering invitational has concluded in Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region with over 20 racers ascending Luodui peak at an altitude of over 5,000 meters on October 30.
 
The vertical race track, with an altitude drop of 109 meters, is the highest of its type in China.
 
The race is held to promote ski-mountaineering as a warm up for the upcoming Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
