Once, making and selling traditional Tibetan clothing was dismissed as an indulgence, and starting a related business, as a waste of time and money. Yet young entrepreneur Tashi Yongtso has not only emerged as a rising star in the fashion industry, but even brought Tibetan costumes to the prestigious stage of Milan Fashion Week. This Gen Z designer, as an inheritor of the traditional clothing art of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, has now founded her own clothing brand and become an inspiration to many aspiring designers.

 

Through her work, Yongtso is actively promoting the beauty of Tibetan clothing culture around the world.
