Breathtaking view of Basum Lake in China's Tibet

Basum Lake is a stunning highland lake located in Nyingchi Prefecture, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
 
Over 3,400 meters above sea level, Basum Lake is about 18 kilometers long, with an average width of about 1.5 kilometers.
 
Basum Lake means "green water" in Tibetan. The area around the lake boasts snow mountains, forests, pasture and historical sites, making it a national 5A tourist attraction.
