Into Tibet 2020: Yaks, boats of the plateau

Yaks are the foundation of the Tibetan way of life on the Qinghai-Tibet plateau. Sturdy and sure of foot, these yaks can cross high mountain passes carrying heavy loads of up to 150 pounds and are called the "boats of the plateau." They're the main source of income and happiness for herdermen.
