Oct. 15, 2018 -- Tibetan Chicken is a typical local variety in Tibet. Compared with other chicken varieties, Tibetan Chicken shows good adaptability to the high altitude environment. At present, a large breeding base of Tibetan Chicken has been built in Gongbo Gyamda County. Since the breeding base has so many chickens to be fed, it requires a large number of working staffs, which provides many job opportunities for local people. As a result, local people’s income has been greatly increased.
