May 26,2017--The technology of drip irrigation of integral control of water and fertilization for orchards of Mainling Farm, which is invested by the Bureau of Agricultural Reclamation of the Department of Agriculture, has passed the acceptance of the technology promotion center of Tibet Agricultural and Pastoral Office.
On May 22, the technology has been used in the apple planting base of Mainling Farm, Nyingchi City. Through ditch irrigation, it takes ten to fifteen days to irrigate the 375 mu apple garden. Now with drip irrigation, it takes only one day to complete the work.
This technology can not only improve irrigation efficiency, but also improve apple quality and output.
