Aug.5, 2019 -- Over the past several months, Tibetan Preservation and Conservation Center for Ancient Books has worked together with the Norbulingka Administrative Office to conduct a survey for ancient books in Norbulingka. Up to August 1, 842 sets of antique books had been registered. At present, the staff are working on the manuscripts of Kangyur from 19^th century. In the process of the survey, the weight, size, preface, pagination, damage conditions of each and every ancient book are registered.
