The Spring Buds Project, jointly promoted by the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) and the China Children and Teenagers' Fund, has received a total of 91 million yuan in donations from the armed police force.

Shen Yueyue, president of the ACWF, said the CAPF has long supported the cause of women and children, as well as shouldered its responsibilities in the nation's poverty alleviation campaign.

Launched in 1989, the project has helped over 10,000 girls across the country finish their schooling.
