Oct.9,2019--  A draft law on administrative discipline was published Tuesday on the official website of China's top legislature to consult public opinion.
The draft law was submitted to the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee in August.
Administrative discipline constitute a punitive measure on members working in the public sector who violate laws, the draft law says.
According to the draft law, administrative discipline include warning, demerit, serious demerit, demotion and dismissal from post or office. Those who receive demerit, serious demerit, demotion and dismissal from post or office are not allowed to receive a higher salary level.
The draft law also stipulates recheck, review and appeal in order to fully protect the legal interests of disciplined members working in the public sector.
