Minister of Education: Build better and safer schools

Mar. 5, 2018 -- We should put safety first and strengthen supervision to build better and safer schools, said Chen Baosheng, China’s Minister of Education.
Chen said we should govern schools and address students’ safety concerns according to law. We should include the school security into the public security system.
Chen urged we should strengthen moral and mental health education, prevent school bullying and violence, guide students to avoid indulging in online games and punish the teachers who commit unlawful acts such as corporal punishment and sexual harassment.
