Aug.12,2020 -- Up to now, buckwheat planting area has reached more than 3.67 km2 in Baxoi County of Qamdo City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. There are over 2,100 households planting buckwheat in 4 townships under the jurisdiction of the city. Combining with the advantages of buckwheat planting, Baxoi County built Lhalukar Buckwheat Processing Plant, focusing on the production of high-quality buckwheat products and cultivating a new engine of economic growth. The processing plant adopts the development model of "company + base + farmers" to drive local farmers to increase their income.
