Dec.19,2017--It is reported that southwest China's Tibet has created a two billion yuan (0.3 billion US dollars) entrepreneurship fund to encourage college graduates to start their own business by providing them free office places and equipments, social security and start-up subsidy, as well as tax exemption in a period.

As of now, 5,012 college graduates, or almost one third of the total population of college graduates in Tibet in 2017, have chosen to be self-employed or start up a business.

Besides, Tibet has optimized the major structure at colleges and vocational institutes and set up some new majors that are in badly need in areas such as industry, farming and medicine to better promote employment among college graduates.

In 2017, the college enrollment rate for students from farming and herding families reached 75.4%.
