Feb.24,2017--China’s state broadcaster CCTV released Monday a list of top ten happiest Chinese cities, namely Lhasa, Chengdu, Changchun, Yinchuan, Tianjin, Hefei, Changsha, Wuhan, Haikou and Shijiazhuang. Lhasa tops on the list, according to a survey issued by CCTV.
Lhasa has the highest ‘sense of happiness’ among 104 Chinese cities surveyed, according to the survey.
People’s satisfaction of basic public services in Lhasa ranked the first among 38 major cities for 4 consecutive years. Lhasa also ranks first in public transportation, basic living allowances, employment, environment and GDP leverage index, according to Blue Book on China's Public Services released by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
In 2017, the per capita disposable incomes of Lhasa’s rural and urban residents will increase by more than 16 percent and 10 percent respectively.
