It is known that the Spring Festival rush time is generally divided by the Spring Festival into two periods, namely 15 days before and 25 days after the Spring Festival, totaling about 40 days. Thus, the 2016 Spring Festival rush time may be from January 13th to Febrary 21th.

 

Before last year's Spring Festival rush, the railway department adjusted the pre-sale period for train tickets (bought online or by telephone) to 60 days, and that regulation has been ajusted to 30 days this year. Thus, from the 15th of this month (next Thursday), passengers can buy train tickets for the first day of the Spring Festival rush.
