11500 people newly employed in Lhasa

Oct. 31, 2016 -- This year, by carrying out a series of activities such as guided training,  vocational guidance, occupation introduction, vocational training, job creation, human resources meeting, dynamic monitoring of unemployment and so on, Lhasa's employment work has made great achievements.
Statistics shows that in the first three quarters this year, 11500 people are newly employed in Lhasa, fulfilling 76.7% of the annual task. The unemployment rate registered in cities and towns is controlled within 2.2%.
Previously, the 1st College Graduates Entrepreneurship Forum was successfully held in Lhasa by Lhasa Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. In addition, Lhasa College Graduates Entrepreneurship Association was established and Lhasa Entrepreneurship Service Network was opened, providing entrepreneurship services such as venue, fund, guidance and so on to college graduates. Apart from that, relative personnel were sent to study in developed provinces and cities. Experts from Jiangsu Province were also invited to carry out relative training in Tibet. Besides, the first skill appraisal team that consists of 66 people was established in Lhasa. Professional skill appraisal question bank was built with approval, which was the first kind of this in Tibet.
Moreover, the public employment information management system will be linked to 109 basic platforms in Tibet and relative professional training will also be organized. The human resources and social security service system that covers city, county, town and village level is completed preliminarily.
