Tibet’s transportation card applicable to 100 cities by yearend

Oct. 21, 2016 -- Tibet’s transportation cards are expected to be used in 100 cities nationwide by the end of 2016, announced local authorities.

The integration project of public transportation card was launched by the Ministry of Transportation. Now the transportation card system of Lhasa has been connected with that of Beijing, Hebei and other provinces.

The project will greatly improve convenience and efficiency of public transportation services and promote communication between cities.
