Tibet Tubo’s former capital tourist area opens

Aug. 29, 2016 -- Recently, it is reported from 2016 Tibet Chongye Tubo Culture Forum that Chongye Tubo's former capital tourist area opens to the public and will become an important platform for publicizing the culture of Tibet's origin to tourists from both home and abroad.
Tubo Kingdom (7th to 9th century), is the first regime recorded in China's Tibet historical documents. It scored brilliant achievements in religion, philosophy, medicine, architectural art and other fields.
Chongye of Lhoka is the cradleland of Tubo Kingdom. It is famous for the tombs of Tubo kings, Riwo Dechen Monastery and Chingwa Taktse Castle.
As the ancient relics have already been recovered, Chongye Tubo’s former capital tourist area now can receive tourists. In the tourists area, Tubo Museum is the main project. Though exhibition, scene reappearance and interaction by science and technology, visitors will experience the Tubo culture.
