Lhasa Civial Affairs Bureau cashes in fund for poverty-striken students

July 19, 2016 -- To better implement the financial aid policy for poverty-striken students, the Lhasa Civial Affairs Bureau will timely cash in fund in 2015 and carry out the declaration work in 2016.
The fund standard for key universities outside Tibet is 5000 yuan, while the standard for ordinary universities outside Tibet is 1000 yuan. In 2015, 1.291 million yuan fund for 444 poverty-striken students is cashed in.
The 2016 declaration work has been launched since May 11. To guarantee the relative work be carried out smoothly, timely and precisely, specially-assigned person will be responsible for the declaration work. In addition, the phenomenon such as false declaration, misstatement and restatement will be resolutely put an end to.
It is said that the fund policy effectively solves poverty-striken students' schooling issue and makes sure that they will graduate smoothly.
