Nedong district has seven traditional villages, namely the villages of Tashi Choten, Gyalsang, Samkhar, Kyepa, Mondrong, Dorak, and Deshing. These villages are enriched with unique natural landscapes, valuable cultural relics, historical and cultural places. Protection and usage of traditional villages in a wider range of communities will help to protect and use the villages neighboring areas and pursue a sustainable development.
