June 26,2017--Experience China·Magnificent Qinghai Photographs & Thangka Exhibition, sponsored by the State Council Information Office of the People’s Republic of China and hosted by Information Office of the People’s Government of Qinghai Province, was held from June 9 to 15 in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

With over 200 photographs and 30 pieces of Thangka paintings on display, the exhibition impressed northern Europeans with Qinghai’s natural beauty, well-preserved traditional culture, social and economic changes as well as its great contributions to ecological protection.

As part of China-Denmark Tourism Year 2017, this exhibition will attract more Danish people to China and further promote cultural exchanges between these two countries, stressed Flemming Bruhn, head of Tourism Bureau of Denmark.

MR. Matt, representative of Aker Group, who was fascinated by an on-site demonstration of Thangka painting given by Xiawujia, an inheritor of national-level intangible cultural heritage, spoke highly of Qinghai’s achievements in protecting cultures of ethnic minorities.

With rawness and mystery, Qinghai's art is expected to shine in the world.
